Biography

In December 2013 I went to the Australasian Tour Qualifying School where I gained status on the tour for the 2014 season. I turned professional not long after and in my rookie season I won 3 pro-ams and made the cut in all but 2 of the events I played. Unfortunately I was unable to retain my status for the 2015 season on the Australasian Tour. This may have been a blessing in disguise though. In January this year I went to the PGA Tour China Qualifying and played well enough to earn membership and playing rights on the tour for the 2015 season. I am looking forward to the opportunity that this has presented.

Before turning professional I had a successful amateur career. I represented the Queensland Mens Team at the Australian Interstate series from 2011-2013 and had the honour of being the Queensland Mens Team Captain for the 2013 series, a year Queensland would win the title for the 3rd time in 4 years. In the mid of 2013 I spent 2 months in the United States where I wanted to test my skill level with the best amateurs in the world in some of the most prestigious events on the amateur schedule. I played 7 events and had 3 top 10 finishes at The Monroe Invitational, The Dogwood Invitational and The Players Amateur. Not long after returning home I won my first National Ranking Event in Australia, The Federal Amateur Championship. I knew then that I was ready for the transition to professional golf.
